THE DAY IS HERE.
After 18 months of work, I am beyond thrilled to announce that BOLT social is officially on the App store in almost every country!
I would like to thank each and every public beta user, without you we could not have reached this moment!
I cannot believe how far BOLT Social has come. From a illegible sketch on a wrinkled piece of paper to a fully functioning app for all to download. It is a dream come true.
Now here's how the process actually went. I made the last minor change to BOLT's code, saved, and deployed to be submitted on the app store. I was literally shaking while submitting it, praying for the best, I've never felt that nervous in my life, well some test do come close. I was releasing something dear to me to the whole world, who knows what can happen, will people like it?
Sadly, whilst in review BOLT social got rejected the first time, as I had lacked some legal work, specifically a EULA agreemnet. You know you're always learning something new, I never even knew what that was until that day.
So I drafted that up and submitted the app again, shaking once again while I submitted it. Thankfully this time, it passed the App Store review.
I remember going to my parents, searching up BOLT social on the App Store, and all of us looking in shock, it was surreal. Although I had launched an app before on the app store, a word game, this was a different feeling, one I cannot describe.
All I can say is that at the end every excess calorie I ate while coding BOLT was worth it.
This is just the beginning for BOLT Social. Together with our users and our goal, I know we can continue to build something great!
